Congratulations to Owen Lockyer who came way with TWO gold medals at the recent Tae Kwon Do International Championship held at the national indoor arena, Birmingham,
The two-day tournament hosted almost 2000 of the world’s best fighters, patterns technicians and destruction champions who came together to battle it out for the title of World Champion. Owen competed in the amateur cadet divisions and comfortably won both the sparring and patterns events.
We are all extremely proud of his achievement showing his dedication, humility and a great work ethic in his training.
This win adds to his golds at the West of England and Welsh championships this year

The blue ribbon event, the world team championships saw a big win for Team England over Team CTA from USA. The deciding bout in the event was won by Adam Brown, from Nicky Turner's Bridgwater club. Team Scotland took the ladies event over Wales.
