West of England Championships

​Weston will again be hosting the West of England championships on Sunday 11th Feb at Hutton Moor.
It is open to all grades and ages to take part in patterns or sparring, Black belts are invited to take part or if qualified attend as officials.
If you don’t fancy taking part you can come along to see over 400 students competing on 6 matted areas, performing patterns both points-stop and continuous sparring, team sparring and Black Belt destruction. Attached is an application form and full details can be found here. The cost per spectator is £10 and it’s £15 per events of competitors

TAGB Grading

Our next TAGB grading will be hosted by Master Dew as usual on Monday 5th Feb at Broadoak College starting at 18:30 , we will hold pre grades to select students on Wednesday 24th at Hutton Moor and Monday 29th at The Campus.

Black Belt patterns course

All Dan grades are invited to the first Black Belt session of the year on Saturday 10th Feb at Hutton Moor at 15:00-16:30, This session will count towards you mandatory training for grading’s.
The session will be overseen by Master Dew, and run by senior instructors from the South West.
The cost of the session is £10. You MUST bring along your black licence booklet, ensuring that your licence slip is up to date, If you can’t find your slip I have several new ones in my kitbag.

Additional classes

As we missed a few classes over Christmas and we have imminent grading’s and tournaments, there will be two additional lessons on Saturday 27th Jan & 3rd Feb at The Campus from11:00 to 12:30. All grades and ages training together, the first part of the class will be grading related the latter part will be tournament/sparring based.
